This weekend, the UK celebrated Mother's Day (don't panic, mom's big day isn't until May 14 in the U.S.) and in honor of the leading ladies in their lives, the royal family shared in the social media tradition of posting photos celebrating royal moms.

For starters, the royal family's official Instagram and Twitter accounts shared a duo of images of King Charles and Queen Camilla with their mothers.

"To all mothers everywhere, and to those who may be missing their mums today, we are thinking of you and wishing you a special #MothersDay," they wrote in the caption. The photos feature Charles's mother, Queen Elizabeth, with himself as a toddler balancing on her lap, as well as a shot of Camilla standing alongside her mother, Rosalind Shand.

The Wales family also shared a few heartwarming images in honor of the holiday. In a post shared to social media, they captioned a photo of Kate Middleton and the three Wales kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, writing, "Happy Mother’s Day from our family to yours"

They also revealed another photo of Kate holding her and Prince William's youngest child, Louis as she gazes lovingly at the soon-to-be five year old.

Naturally, social media-savvy Princess Eugenie also shared a celebratory message for the holiday. "I love being your Mumma! Happy Mothers Day!" she captioned a photo of herself and son August holding hands on a wintery lawn.

Eugenie also recently announced some other motherly news on Instagram with an announcement in January that she and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their second child later this year.
