Leave it to Taco Bell to give us a frozen drink that makes us feel like we’re on vacation. People went crazy over the Pineapple Freeze and Tie-Dye Freeze that came out just before summer, and now the Mexican fast food chain is making sure we’re leaving the season behind on a high note. Introducing the Dragonfruit Freeze!

The tropical drink has a dragonfruit base that’s swirled with a burst of pink dragon fruit flavor. The flavor has been described as being a cross between a kiwi and pear, so it’s certainly sweet and fruity.

“It’s quite possible you’ve never tasted the flavor of dragon fruit before. Actually, we wouldn’t even be surprised if you’ve never even heard of a dragon fruit before. Well, if that’s the case, let us be the first to introduce you to this hidden gem — and our Dragonfruit Freeze,” the description says.

You can get the Dragonfruit Freeze for a limited time at participating locations. It comes in regular ($2.39) and large ($2.59) sizes, and is available for just $1 during Happier Hour, which is 2 to 5 p.m. daily at participating Taco Bells. Just $1 to heal our summertime departure blues? Worth it.

In addition to the Freeze, Taco Bell has a new $5 Grande Stacker Box. It consists of a warm flour tortilla that’s loaded with a double portion of beef, a melted blend of mozzarella, cheddar cheese, pepper jack cheese, and warm nacho cheese sauce. The creation is folded into the stacker tri-fold, and grilled. The $5 box includes two Crunchy Tacos and a medium drink, or you can just get the Grande Stacker for $2.49.

For those who live near Knoxville, Tennessee, you’ll get the chance to try Taco Bell’s cheesiest chalupa shell before it becomes available nationwide next year. Dubbed the Quesalupa, it’s made with a deep-fried shell that’s stuffed with melty pepper jack and mozzarella cheeses. It’s filled with beef, reduced-fat sour cream, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese. There’s also a vegetarian option that swaps the beef for black beans.

As if the Dragonfruit Freeze weren’t reason enough to hit the drive-thru, now we have some other new menu selections to order, too!
