KUALA LUMPUR, May 22 — A dozen students from Pusat Tahfiz Darul Quran Ittifaqiyah were seen again at former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak’s private residence on Jalan Langgak Duta here tonight.

However, Najib and an entourage with police outriders left the premises at about 8.30pm for tarawih prayers and returned at 9.50pm.

About five minutes later, a van bearing the logo of the tahfiz centre — which made national headlines after 23 students were killed in a fire last September — left the house.

It was learnt that the students had performed solat hajat — a special prayer for a wish — tonight, as they did last night.

This is the third time that the students from the same centre have visited Najib’s home in the last five days.

Yesterday, the students were brought to break fast and recite Quranic verses, including the Yasin chapter. On Friday, the students broke their fast and also performed tarawih prayers at Najib’s house.
