SINGAPORE — Takashimaya Department Store at Ngee Ann City, The Centrepoint and Lucky Plaza have been added to the list of public places recently visited by COVID-19 cases, according to a list compiled by the Ministry of Health (MOH) on Friday (4 September).

The other new places added to the MOH list are Food Republic and TAG Heuer at Wisma Atria, Ya Kun Family Cafe at Compass One, Tiger Street Lab at Jewel Changi Airport, Din Tai Fung at NEX, and Warehouse Club at FairPrice Hub.

The dates visited for all the places were from 21 to 31 August.

As a precautionary measure, persons who had been at these locations during the specified timings should monitor their health closely for 14 days from their date of visit. They should see a doctor promptly if they develop symptoms of acute respiratory infection (such as cough, sore throat and runny nose), as well as fever and loss of taste or smell, and inform the doctor their exposure history, the MOH said.

“There is no need to avoid places where confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been. The National Environment Agency will engage the management of affected premises to provide guidance on cleaning and disinfection.”

On the same day, the MOH confirmed 40 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the country’s total to 56,948.
