The dad is reflecting on getting to this era in his life as he prepares to release his memoir
Tarek El Moussa is feeling grateful for his kids.
The HGTV star, 42, posed for new photos with sons Tristan, 9 months, and Brayden, 8, as well as daughter Taylor, 13. In the caption, El Moussa opened up about what his kids have meant to him along his journey as he announced his book, Flip Your Life.
"My entire world right here in one photo❤️. I never thought in a million years that I would become a father again, let alone find the love of my life. But…the universe has a funny way of working out," he started the caption.
"Tay and Bray gave me the strength I needed to get me out of the darkest place in my entire life and @theheatherraeelmoussa taught me to love myself and others again when I thought I wasn’t worthy of being loved."
"As most of you might know, I’ve been writing a book, FLIP YOUR LIFE, for the past 7 years and it will finally be available on February 6th, 2024! This is an autobiography about everything I’ve been through in life, and no, I don’t hold back on the juicy details 😆," he joked, adding, "I can’t wait to share my journey with you and hopefully inspire some of you!!"

El Moussa shares Tristan with wife Heather Rae El Moussa and his two older kids with ex Christina Hall.
Last month, Heather reflected on a milestone in their little one's life as they ended their breastfeeding journey together.
"8 1/2 months postpartum. As I write this, my heart is full but also my mama heart is a little sad because my big boy does not want to breastfeed anymore. It’s bittersweet for me because breastfeeding as a new mommy was something I grew to love- I love the bond, the skin-to-skin, the cuddles, and if I’m being honest, it would have been harder for me to make the decision to stop," she wrote.
"About 2 1/2-3 weeks ago, Tristan started to get un-interested & would just pull away and blow bubbles but he would still end up enjoying our morning feeds… until today 😢 and I don’t want to force him so I’m trusting the process, like I have from the start," she shared. "I will still offer it to him but he’s a busy boy these days & is just so distracted. I do want to say that I’m really proud of myself that I made it this long. I passed my goal of 4 months, then 6 months, and I’m proud of my Tristan bear."
Noting that breastfeeding was "initially hard for him when he was just a newborn because he struggled with his tongue, cheek, & lip ties," she celebrated their ability to be a "team."
In July, Heather celebrated their blended family in an Instagram photo from time on vacation together.
"Our family of 5 ❤️ Perfectly imperfect, crazy, loud, filled with so much love and laughter, lots of smiles, never dull...Love them so much and can't imagine our life without them," they began their caption.
"This trip was amazing but getting a photo of all of us was the cherry on top 🥰❤️," they concluded.
