Teenage boy dies after fall from 12th floor at HDB sky garden

A 16-year-old boy fell 12 floors to his death from a HDB block in Toa Payoh in the early hours of Tuesday morning (23 January).

A Singapore Police Force (SPF) spokesman said that they were “alerted to a case of fall from height at Block 79D Toa Payoh Central” at 12.28am.

The boy was found lying motionless and pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene, said SPF.

Yahoo News Singapore understands that a female friend was with the teen at the time of the incident. The girl witnessed him lose his balance and fall off the ledge at the sky garden on the 12th floor of Block 79D.

Police are investigating the unnatural death.
