Suzuki Philippines Inc. (SPH) has teamed up with communications firm Converge, forging a partnership to strengthen the logistical requirements of the latter.
The local distributor of the Japanese marque—through Suzuki Auto San Fernando—has turned over 200 units of the Suzuki Carry to Converge Communications & Information Technology Solutions, Inc., to intensify its customer service.
The ceremonial turnover was done September 17 and was attended by Laus Group of Companies (LGC) Executive Director Diorella Laus, Converge Co-Founder Grace Uy, Converge CEO Dennis Uy, LGC Chairman and CEO Lisset Laus-Velasco and LGC President Paul Laus.
Backed by more than four decades of experience and studies to meet various environmental and weather conditions, the Suzuki Carry is said to be suitable for the demands of the business in terms of daily field work.
Fitted with galvanized steel plates for the entire bed, customers should worry the least about rust and corrosion on a Suzuki Carry.
The Carry is equipped with a fuel efficient four-cylinder 1.5 liter engine which can produce up to almost 97 horsepower and maximum torque of 134Nm. Aside from that, water-levels as high as 30 centimeters are not a problem since the engine air intake is placed in a high position.
Further, the Suzuki Carry is retailed in two variants:
- Carry Cab and Chassis 1.5L at P499,000
- Carry Truck 1.5L at P509,000
SPH said that customization is available upon request of customer.
