Putting on his best warning voice, the actor says in a Twitter video (via The Hollywood Reporter's Aaron Couch): "Listen and understand, that virus is out there.

"It can't be bargained with, it can't be reasoned with, it doesn't feel pity or remorse, or shame. And it absolutely will not stop until we stay at home!"

Signing off, he simply adds: "Kyle Reese."

Despite the underlying seriousness, fans responding to the video loved Michael's performance here.

"Still got it, infact I think this delivery was even better than the original when he was younger," read one tweet, while another user wrote: "Only the real Kyle Reese can make this sound so cool."

And if it helps drive the message home to stay indoors, it's mission accomplished.
