A convicted murderer is on the run after failing to meet his prison release conditions, with police warning the public not to approach him.

Terry Game, 50, is wanted after failing to comply with a curfew following his release on temporary licence from Leyhill prison, in south Gloucestershire, police said.

He strangled Lisa Sullivan, daughter of blind pop star Lennie Peters, in 2005 and was convicted of her murder a year later.

Game was handed a life sentence with a minimum term of 15 years.
