STORY: Twitter user Brett Hillier shared a video of the ice on the net cracking from several punches.

The U.S. National Weather Service said in its Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas area forecast discussion, the ongoing winter storm will continue to bring hazardous impacts to the North and Central parts of the state at least until early Thursday (February 2) morning.

Periods of freezing rain are expected to continue through Thursday morning, according to the weather forecast for the Austin/San Antonio area.

Significant ice accumulation impacts are likely for the Austin and San Antonio metropolitan areas.
