WorkVenture uses an algorithm to match candidates with their ideal jobs

WorkVenture, a Thailand-based startup that refers to itself as the ‘Netflix of Jobs’ has raised a US$3.6 million Series A round from an undisclosed investor, according to DealStreetAsia.

The plan with the money is to expand across Thailand and work to gain market share in the country.

WorkVenture is a jobs platform that uses an algorithm to help candidates find jobs more relevant to their professional desires much like how the ‘thumbs up’ rating system in Netflix reveals shows that fits users’ preferences.

The company also has a feature for anonymous reviews of companies. The hope is that transparency will allow people to make better decisions, thus reducing turnover for the businesses.
