How it works

With “triple cooking power,” this air fryer uses halogen, convection and infrared heat, cooking your food to crispy perfection without the additional oil. Due to the halogen, convection and infrared heat, this particular model doesn’t require preheating and cooks frozen food without the need to thaw beforehand.

This air fryer comes with a supersize, transparent glass bowl, allowing you to keep an eye on food as it cooks without opening the chamber. This allows food to cook even faster.

It’s also easy to use with two dials, temperature control, a timer and auto shutoff, plus, it’s dishwasher safe meaning clean up is just as easy as cooking the food.

What people are saying

With more than 1,400 reviews and a 4.6 star rating, customers love this air fryer due to its easy-to-use nature, fast heating and ability to cook comfort foods at a fraction of the usual calories.

“First let me say that I’m a pretty tough critic and I absolutely love this fryer! I couldn’t wait to get it out of the box. I’ve needed this for a long time because of my high cholesterol. The first thing I cooked were some potato wedges – cooked to perfection and not soaked in oil. Then, I made chicken, again cooked to perfection,” one reviewer says. “With all this perfection going on, I had to wonder how well it would handle homemade buttermilk biscuits. I will say I now know how to tweak it a bit but again perfection! Plus, just the savings on the power bill alone should pay for this item. If you don’t have one – get one… or two. I plan on getting another for cooking larger meals. Love it!”

“The best thing I ever bought,” adds another. “We cooked chicken in 12 minutes, and I’m really impressed. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Just perfect.”

While the majority of reviews seem to love this product, some customers did warn it takes trial and error to get your recipes just right.

“This item is large which is fantastic. However, when I try to fry pork chops in it, the batter stuck to the baskets and ended up making non fried pork chops. I’m going to continue to practice with it and hope that it gets better as I am still excited about the use,” admits one customer.

“I made chicken wings and parmesan potato wedges. I had to do the cooking in two batches but this was not an issue. I noticed the items on the lower level did not crisp as much as the upper level but I will continue to experiment,” adds another.

The verdict

Providing a healthy-take on classic comfort food, using an air fryer does take some trial and error, but customers promise once you understand it, the air fryer is a seamless way to make your favourite fried foods healthier.
