The Duchess Of Cornwall Just Rocked One Glam Red Carpet Look

Whether we’re open about it or not, we all love perusing the Duchess of Cambridge’s style file. And taking a peek inside the Queen’s wardrobe is just as fascinating. But Camilla’s ensembles rarely get a look in. Possibly because she doesn’t tend to don outfits that are all that newsworthy. Until now.

The Duchess of Cornwall got her glam on last night, bringing a bucket load of Hollywood chic to the red carpet. The 68-year-old dressed up to the nines, wearing the ultimate evening dress to the British Asian Trust dinner in London.

She donned an embellished Bruce Oldfield gown for the occasion, made from a midnight blue fabric and boasting intricate beading and a full skirt.

Camilla paired the frock with a black shawl, which hopefully helped keep the winter chill over her skin, and accessoried with some wow-factor diamonds – like only the female members of the royal family can.

Prince Charles and Duchess weren’t the only high-profile people to adorn the guest list. Some 450 guests attended the lavish event, held at the National History Museum, including the likes of Simon Cowell, Leona Lewis, Labyrinth and Neelan Gill.

According to the Daily Mail, all of the invitees indulged in a mouth-watering Indian banquet, which was no doubt divine.

Here’s hoping Camilla managed to avoid dripping anything down her resplendent frock. Cleaning mango chutney out of that bodice’s beadwork would be any dry cleaner’s ideal of hell.
