Third 'Fallen' film in the works with Gerard Butler
Gerard Butler has signed on to a third "Fallen" film, in which he will reprise his role as Secret Service agent Mike Banning.
"Angel Has Fallen" rounds out the trilogy of the "Fallen" franchise.
In the latest installment, Banning's ennemies set out to take him down once and for all.
In addition to playing the titular character, Butler is also producing, reports Variety.
Production is slated to begin next year.
The second chapter, "London has Fallen," released this year, also starred Aaron Eckhart and grossed $195 million at the international box office.
