JOHOR BARU: Three men were fined RM1,500 each for soliciting and touting at three different locations here during an operation by the Johor Land Public Transport Department (SPAD) on April 12.

Mohamad Amran Chik, 48, committed the offence at the Stulang Ferry Terminal at 12pm. He had offered an unidentified Indonesian a ride to an undisclosed destination.

Subeli Ahmad, 55, meanwhile, committed the offence at Johor Baru Sentral, also at 12pm. He had solicited RM100 for a ride from an undercover SPAD officer.

Jefri Ramli, 25, had led an undercover SPAD officer to a bus counter when the latter responded to Jefri's offer for a bus ticket to the Terminal Bersepadu Selatan on April 12 at 11.20am from the Larkin Bus Terminal.
