TI9 Dota 2 Day 2 updates: SEA teams open Day 2 with draws

With 18 teams from across the world currently gathered in Shanghai to compete for the biggest prize of all in Dota 2, all eyes are on this grand dame of esports events.

However, two of the 18 teams will not make it past the Group Stage and into the Main Stage held in the Mercedes-Benz Arena.

Yahoo Esports looks at the results of the Southeast Asian teams competing in TI9 right now.

TI9: Group Stage Day 2 Results

All 3 Southeast Asian teams started the second day by drawing their games 1-1 against their European counterparts.

Fnatic started the day by drawing with Ninjas in Pyjamas, Philippines-based team TNC Predator drew with Alliance while their fellow Philippines-based team Mineski managed a draw against TI7 winners Liquid.

Mineski subsequently beat Europe-based Chaos Esports Club while TNC Predator again drew their next series against Newbee, which is currently representing North America.

Malaysia-based Fnatic ended the day by losing 0-2 to South American team Infamous.
