TikToker caught cutting line at Nashville event, claims she can because she's 'beautiful' and has '70,000 followers'
A self-described TikTok influencer was recorded skipping a food and drink line at a popular Nashville event and caught telling angry bystanders that she could skip the line because she is “obnoxiously beautiful.”
One TikTok user @desi.self was at the 14th annual Jack Daniel’s New Years’ Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash event on New Years’ Eve — which was anticipated to have a massive crowd after the record-breaking attendance at the 2019 event. The event took place at the Bicentennial Capitol Mall State Park and featured food and drink vendors, one of whom, @desi.self, was in line for when she started filming her TikTok.
According to @desi.self, she missed when three women “cut to almost the front of the line” after people had been waiting “almost 40+” mins” for food and drinks. A woman standing by @desi.self in line took it upon herself to confront the three women.
“[She] went up and said something to them because it was rude and everyone was talking about it,” @desi.self explained in a text overlay. “The girl who cut started videoing the lady who said something to them and when [the woman] asked her to stop [filming], she didn’t, so [the woman] smacked her phone.”
The woman who had cut the line can be seen looking incredulously at the woman who smacked her phone as @desi.self zoomed in on the interaction. In the background, bystanders can be heard cheering the woman on.
Then the influencer went back to her phone and started filming herself, before turning to the woman who confronted her and said, “I am obnoxiously beautiful, you ugly old b****.”
“I will beat you the f*** up,” she concluded.
“Bro she has 70,000 followers on TikTok,” someone in the background said. It’s not clear whether he was joking or repeating something the woman had said that @desi.self had not caught on camera.
“She said she got 70,000 followers on TikTok!” another person chimed in, laughing.
After sticking her tongue out at the woman who confronted her, the woman and her two friends who cut the line started to leave the area with their drinks. Before they could get very far, the woman grabbed the leader’s hair and pulled her to the ground. Armed with the two beers she cut the line for, the woman threw some of her drink at the crowd.
“She chases after the lady but does nothing once she gets to her and the lady just walks off,” @desi.self concluded.
Seems like a great way to ring in the new year.
