Tiket.com expands its online car rental service
Indonesia-based online travel agent Tiket.com has launched a new partnership with TRAC Astra Rent a Car to develop an online car rental service through its booking engine. This new service allows internet-based customers to directly book a TRAC rental car from the website for a good quality of land transportation in most big and medium cities across Indonesia.
Tiket.com managing director Gaery Udarsa said that he hopes the company's cooperation with TRAC Astra Rent a Car will serve as an important step for both companies in unfolding new markets and opportunities in the future.
“With TRAC Astra Rent a Car joining our Tiket.com online service, Tiket.com users will have the ease of booking a good quality rental car to continue their trip to many parts of the country,” Gaery explained.
The rapid growth of Tiket.com users and its increasingly diverse strategic partners has enabled the company to spread its network to more potential travel destinations across Indonesia, including supporting cities such as Malang, Solo, Cirebon, Lombok, Pekanbaru and Banten.
As a subsidiary of PT Astra International Tbk., TRAC Astra Rent a Car has been serving its customers for more than 25 years with a land fleet of 35,000 vehicles widely ranging from SUVs, MPVs, mini-vans, 4-wheeled cars to vans and big buses. The company's car rental model allows Tiket.com's customers to use full vehicle rental facilities that already includes a professional chauffeur, toll road fees, parking fees and other additional expenses.
