I am a self-proclaimed shoe person. I have well over 30 pairs of shoes and constantly rotate new ones into my collection. If you are, too, you may have a problem storing all of them neatly. You want to put them somewhere out of the way but more convenient and closer to the door than your bedroom closet. Well, leave it to TikTok to give us a stylish solution — a shoe cabinet.
You will find thousands of videos if you search for shoe storage or shoe cabinets on the app. Most recently, this natural wood-colored one with rattan doors popped up on my FYP, and it looks like a gorgeous, yet slim entryway cabinet. No one would ever know you’re storing shoes in there. And, it’s only $100.
The ZeHuoGe Store Natural Rattan Shoe Cabinet has two flip drawers for stashing away sneakers, flats, heels and more. Depending on your shoe size and the type of shoes, it can generally hold around six pairs. It also comes in dark and white wood versions if those match your home décor better. And if you have a lot of shoes you want to keep by the door, for $8 more, you can get a cabinet with a third flip drawer. So, you have options.
There aren’t many Amazon reviews yet, but some shoppers share that they purchased two cabinets and put them side by side to make one big one. Others shared that they use them for storing blankets, dog leashes and more. However, a few mentioned the sturdiness — it’s good for the price. But like a lot of affordable furniture, these cabinets should be attached to the wall to prevent them from accidentally falling over when opening a drawer.
“I love these shoe bins and it is the number one most commented thing I own in my apartment,” wrote one Amazon reviewer. “Such a classy way to hide my shoes!”
“The finish was actually nicer than what I thought it would be,” wrote another reviewer. “The instructions were easy to follow and I had it up and in use quickly. Great product for the price. I may get a second one.”
Shoe people — this is one organization solution you should consider, especially if you’re the type that tends to have your shoes pile up at the door. This stylish shoe cabinet beats plastic bins any day.
