It's Time to Switch Up Your Face SPF to This Rose-Scented Mineral Sunscreen

The Brief: Everyone should be wearing SPF, every day, no excuses — but especially if you're a very pale, very tattooed person such as myself. I try to make it a point to wear SPF daily with or without makeup, and I'm quite particular about which mineral sunscreen I wear on my face specifically.
So, when a little birdie mentioned sustainable, clean skincare brand Everyday Humans to me, I was instantly intrigued. The brand's mission is simple, but kickass: Everyday Humans makes basic, everyday skincare staples for all skin types, from SPF to body-care essentials. These skincare products are made with clinically tested formulas and environmentally friendly packaging, all developed with a commitment to long-term skin health.
In the brand's portfolio, Everyday Humans has everything from a clever sunscreen-serum hybrid sassily named Resting Beach Face, to SPF 50 body sunscreen, to my personal favorite product (and the subject of this I Tried It): Rosé S’il Vous Plait Mineral Sunscreen.
This 11.25% zinc oxide-based physical sunscreen provides SPF 30 broad-spectrum sun protection and is super gentle on sensitive skin. It's clinically tested to be non-comedogenic (meaning it won't clog pores), it's suitable for oily and blemish-prone skin (aka my skin to a tee), and it's also suitable for all skin tones, as this product leaves no white cast and has a velvety finish.
Now, let's talk about the clean ingredients list. Rose extract and aloe vera juice restore skin's moisture-sebum balance and soothe any trouble spots. Side note: The rose extract also makes this mineral sunscreen smell ever so faintly floral and fresh, which I appreciate on these hot, sweaty summer days. Rosé S’il Vous Plait is silicone-free, cruelty-free, vegan, and reef-friendly.
This sunscreen goes on white at first straight from the bottle, but it's very moisturizing and easy to blend, which makes it perfect for use on delicate facial skin. I personally love it for my face because it stays put and doesn't slide around, regardless of how much of a sweaty Betty I am. Plus, it works with my daily skincare and makeup (or no makeup) routine.
Closing Argument: With its reasonable price point, sassy and millennial-friendly branding, and minimalist yet purposeful formulation, I highly recommend Everyday Humans' entire line of smart SPF skincare products.
