Tina Fey developing new comedy for FOX

FOX has ordered a pilot episode for the former "30 Rock" star's new series, set in a women's college opening its doors to male students for the first time in its history.

Still in the early stages of development, Tina Fey's latest project is still untitled, and details on the plot have yet to be established. The actress and producer will reunite with "30 Rock" screenwriter Matt Hubbard to write the pilot episode, which will be directed by Pam Fryman, known for her work on "How I Met Your Mother."

In addition to this latest project, Tina Fey is currently producing the first season of a comedy slated to air on NBC next fall. The network has already ordered 13 episodes of the new show starring Ellie Kemper. The 33-year-old actress seen on "The Office" will play a young woman who escapes from a cult and begins her life anew in New York.
