Police have launched an investigation after human remains were found in a skip at a cemetery.
Officers were called to Tipton Cemetery, in Sandwell, West Midlands, after the grim discovery was reported on Saturday evening.
The burial site was sealed off over the Bank Holiday weekend while forensic officers erected several tents and searched the area for clues.
An image showed police surrounding three forensic tents beside a yellow skip.
A West Midlands Police spokesman said: "We're investigating after human remains were found in a skip at Tipton Cemetery, Alexandra Road, on Saturday evening.
"The area has been cordoned off for further searches to be carried out.
"They will undergo forensic and archaeological analysis. There is no information linking this discovery to a criminal investigation at this stage."
Sandwell Council, which runs the site, has said the cemetery remains open to the public.
