Tom Holland and Zendaya Relax in a Boston Park Following Casting in Christopher Nolan's Next Movie
Christopher Nolan's next movie expects to release July 17, 2026, while 'Spider-Man 4' is currently slated to release one week later
Tom Holland and Zendaya are enjoying some moments of relaxation.
On Friday, Nov. 8, Holland and Zendaya, both 28, were seen spending time in a park in Boston. The Dune and Euphoria actress seemingly snapped pictures of her boyfriend as she lounged on a park bench during the couple's outing, while Holland posed holding the leash of a small dog.
Zendaya's public appearance with Holland came the same day that multiple outlets reported she is joining the cast of Christopher Nolan's next movie, which Holland and Matt Damon were previously reported to costar in. Deadline, The Hollywood Reporter and Variety each reported on Nov. 8 that Zenday and Anne Hathaway were joining Nolan's cast for the upcoming film, expected to release in theaters July 2026.
Holland and Zendaya first confirmed their romantic relationship in 2021; the couple famously costars in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movies. and Holland recently indicated that Spider-Man 4 will begin filming in summer 2025 during an Oct. 22 appearance on The Tonight Show.

At the time Holland's casting in Nolan's next movie was first reported, multiple outlets reported that the Oppenheimer filmmaker plans to begin filming his follow-up projejct in early 2025.
While Marvel Studios and Sony, the studios behind the Spider-Man franchise, have not yet announced whether Zendaya will return as Michelle Jones (MJ) after her memories of Peter Parker were wiped at the climax of 2021's No Way Home,

Holland said on the Oct. 17 episode of Rich Roll's podcast that he and Zendaya recently read a draft of the Spider-Man 4 script together. "We, at times, were like, bouncing around the living room," he said at that time. "Like, 'This is a real movie worthy of the fans' respect.' "

Holland has only spoken sparingly of his part in Nolan's next movie, telling Good Morning America in October that he is "incredibly excited" for the movie. "And, obviously, honored, but that’s all I can say," he said during that appearance. "Because, to be honest, that’s all I know.”
Moviegoing audiences may be treated to a summer full of Holland in 2026. As multiple outlets reported Oct. 25, the fourth Spider-Man movie is expected to release in theaters July 24, 2026, some two months after Avengers: Doomsday releases on May 1, 2026. Nolan's next movie is expected to hit theaters July 17, 2026.
