Toni Collette, Gillian Anderson join Clive Owen in 'Andorra'
Toni Collette and Gillian Anderson have boarded a film that will star Clive Owen as an American who moves to a small country in the hopes of starting a new life after experiencing a personal tragedy.
"Andorra" is the film adaptation of Peter Cameron's 1997 novel of the same name.
In the film, Owen plays the titular character Alexander Fox, a bookseller who moves to Andorra in the aim of reinventing himself, reports Deadline.
There he meets an Australian woman, Mrs. Dent (Collette), as well as Miss Quay (Anderson). When a mutilated body appears in the harbor, the identity of the mysterious newcomer comes into question.
Production is set to start in Italy next spring and post-production set for Australia.
The film will be directed by Australian Fred Schepisi.
