Tossing Rifles With Precision: Here’s Why Singapore’s Military Police Are The Best
If there is one thing to look forward to at the upcoming National Day Parade (NDP) on Aug 9, it’s the precision and dexterity of the Silent Precision Drill Squad of the Singapore Armed Forces Military Police (MP) Command.
The team, known for tossing their rifles and doing rotations with quick, confident hand movements have become a crowd favourite and are guaranteed to make you go “whoooooaaaaa” when they perform under the Singapore Armed Forces Military Tattoo, with the NDP Combined Band.
Since practice makes perfect, some of our MP boys have taken to Instagram to show their skills while resting at the holding area in Suntec Convention Centre. We say we’re pretty impressed by these guys.

Zul said on his Instagram that he has to do 52 jumbos and 101 rotations to pass the course! Mad respect, bro.
Here’s one more with some super dunz-dunz-oof-oof music:

Here’s a preview of this year’s SAF Military Tattoo on a previous National Education Show: (warning: spoiler alert, obviously)
The National Day Parade will be telecast on – oh, who am I kidding. It’ll be everywhere. Do you really need to know the telecast details?
