Track fault on East-West Line causes service disruption between Tampines and Pasir Ris
A track fault on the East-West Line has resulted in a service disruption between Tampines and Pasir Ris MRT stations.
In a Twitter update at around 2pm on Wednesday (25 April), the rail operator said that train service between the two stations would be delayed for 25 minutes.
[EWL] UPDATE: Due to a track fault, train service between #Tampines and #PasirRis will be delayed for 25mis. Free regular bus svcs between #Tampines and #PasirRis. Our station staff will assist.

Earlier that day, the rail operator announced that former Chief of Defence Force would replace Desmond Kuek and Group CEO from 1 August.
“I am conscious that there will be challenges ahead. I know the public expects safe and reliable train services. I will work very hard to meet their expectations,” said Neo in a statement.
