A track fault on the East-West Line has resulted in a service disruption between Tampines and Pasir Ris MRT stations.

In a Twitter update at around 2pm on Wednesday (25 April), the rail operator said that train service between the two stations would be delayed for 25 minutes.

Earlier that day, the rail operator announced that former Chief of Defence Force would replace Desmond Kuek and Group CEO from 1 August.

“I am conscious that there will be challenges ahead. I know the public expects safe and reliable train services. I will work very hard to meet their expectations,” said Neo in a statement.
