Transformers: The Last Knight Unveils 4 New Autobot Designs

UPDATE: The Transformers Twitter account released a new piece of concept art overnight revealing an updated design for Hound. The Autobot - voiced by John Goodman - has taken over medic duties from Ratchet who was killed off in ‘Age of Extinction’.

ORIGINAL STORY: The official ‘Transformers’ social media channels are a goldmine for fans at the moment, revealing new information and imagery from the fifth film every single day.

Following the reveal of Hot Rod last week, we’ve now been treated to concept art for Crosshairs, Drift, and new team member Skweeks.

Check them out below.

“He’s got your back, but you won’t hear the end of it,” the accompanying tweet declared about Crosshairs who made his live action movie debut in 2014′s ‘Transformers: Age of Extinction’. He was a green 2014 C7 Corvette Stingray in the last film, so expect his transformed state to get an upgrade this time around.

Drift, voiced by Ken Watanabe, also returns and is “with Optimus to the end”. Drift was a blue Bugatti Veyron in the last film, but thanks to earlier photos released from the set, we know he’s a black and red Mercedes-AMG GT R this time around.

This tiny bot (3ft 6 inches when tyres are fully inflated) was revealed in a set video earlier this year, and according to the Transformers Twitter account “you don’t want to underestimate this little guy”.

‘Transformers: The Last Knight’ is coming to cinemas in June, 2017.
