Trinny London's Miracle Blur is a game-changer in my beauty routine

Trinny London Miracle Blur review
Trinny London's best-selling Miracle Blur formula helps skin blurring, smoothing and priming. (Trinny London)

I've been a big of Trinny London since it first launched in 2017, and its Miracle Blur primer recently reminded me why I fell in love with the brand in the first place.

I'm all for reducing my make-up bag to be as small and fuss-free as possible, and its stackable, cream-based pots are the perfect solution if you're looking to downsize on packaging, without compromising on quality.

There's a huge range of Trinny London products that I can't get enough of, from the blendable Eye2Eye cream eyeshadows to the multi-tasking Lip2Cheek tints for a subtle wash of colour, but one product that's too good I immediately repurchase when my pot is running low is the brand's Miracle Blur.

This fine-line smoothing, skin-priming pot deserves a spot in every make-up bag, whether you take a pared back, minimalist approach to your beauty routine or love to get dressed up to the nines with full-coverage foundation.

It's been a part of my own routine for over two years and it's a brilliant multi-tasker that has rave reviews from other shoppers too.

This skin smoothing, translucent formula has a multitude of uses; blurring pores, temporarily filling fine lines and even helping the appearance of acne scars.

The mattifying, satin texture is translucent so there's no colour payoff, meaning you don't need to worry about fiddly shade matching as it will suit all skin tones.

Why I rate it

I like to apply a small amount of the colour-free formula with my finger under my eyes, over and around my nose before wearing make-up to create a texture-free, super soft and smooth base.

Along with creating the perfect canvas for make-up application, I find it's also useful to make your products last longer.

For example, if you dap a small amount around your lips before applying lipstick (I'm a big fan of a bold lippie), it stops the colour from smearing, smudging or bleeding, keeping you looking polished and put together for longer.

It can also be pressed over foundation to smooth fine lines and provide touch ups, especially if you're been wearing make-up all day and don't have time to remove it and reapply.

What the reviews say

Don't just take my word for it. As one of Trinny London's best selling products, Miracle Blur has garnered hundreds of four- and five-star reviews.

Fans have declared that the mattifying product 'really works' to smooth fine lines, and its 'brilliant formula' has buyers buyers 'converted' and already 'buying a second pot'.

"This is literally the only product that I have found that keeps my shine to a minimum for over 12 hours, I only need to apply it once," wrote one fan. "It is fabulous over my cosmetics and blurs pores and lines very nicely. Please never stop making it!"

"I’m 53 and this has been a life saver! It lasts all day and feels amazing on. I will be using this forever!!!" added another.
