One Direction's Louis Tomlinson turned 21 on December 24 causing fans of the singer in Italy to trend "HappyBirthdayOurPeterPanFromItaly," 'Peter Pan' being one of the singer's nicknames.
Louis Tomlinson, who, according to fans, bears a slight resemblance to Disney's interpretation of Peter Pan, took to Twitter under @Louis_Tomlinson to thank his fans for their well wishes and jokingly tweeted "Ahhhhh I'm old !!!!!".
Elsewhere on Twitter French speakers are wishing each other a "Joyeux Noel" or "Happy Christmas," as are Danish users who wish one and other a "God Jul".
Artur Mas has also been re-elected as President of Catalonia, causing his name and "Catalunya," the Catalan spelling of Catalonia, to trend.
