Twitter index: Yuvraj Singh, Día de los Santos Inocentes

Cricket fans are taking to Twitter on Friday, December 28 to sing the praises of Indian player Yuvraj Singh, while in Spain Twitter users are warning one another to be wary on the Día de los Santos Inocentes.

Pakistan is playing India in Friday's Twenty20 International cricket match at the Sardar Patel Stadium, and the performance of Yuvraj Singh, also knows as "Yuvi," is delighting fans of the sport. The cricketer underwent chemotherapy in 2011 and was discharged from the hospital in March before making his international cricket comeback in September.

"Its really amazing how someone can bounce back from a crisis the way Yuvraj has. #Yuvi," tweets
caramel popcorn; "I'm pretty sure someone somewhere recorded the seismic count of a billion orgasms at once, when Yuvi hit that 3rd six. #IndvPak," says Luv Shukla and "Pakistani players should come on field with sunglasses onn [sic] with protection from ~Yuvi Rays~," writes gosai bhargav.

Meanwhile, some parts of the world are marking Holy Innocents' Day, also called Children's Mass, a Christian feast day. In countries including Spain and the Philippines, the day is celebrated on December 28 much as other parts of the world mark April Fools' Day -- with pranks. Twitter users in Spain are warning one another to beware of what they read with the ninth-placed trending topic "Inocentes," a term that connotes both the pranksters and their victims.
