UPDATE 6:20pm 18 June 2018: Ticketing details added in the third paragraph.

Two new shows have been added to Mandopop singer JJ Lin’s tour schedule in Singapore after tickets were sold out within an hour of sales beginning on Saturday (16 June).

The additional concerts for the Singaporean star’s Sanctuary World tour will be on 15 and 16 August, promoter Unusual Entertainment announced.

Tickets across all price categories will go on public sale from 25 June, 10am onwards through Sports Hub Tix. Tickets are also available for purchase at the Singapore Indoor Stadium Box Office, all SingPost outlets, The Star Performing Arts Centre Box Office and Scotts Square Concierge Desk. There will be no presales.

Lin was originally slated to perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 18 and 19 August. General ticket sales began at 10am on Saturday, but by 10.50am the ticketing agent Sports Hub Tix had already announced on social media that tickets for both shows were sold out due to overwhelming response.

Tickets are priced from $148 to $348.

The Sports Hub website indicated that all tickets allocated for advance ticket sales for American Express and Great Eastern LIVE GREAT card members, as well as StarHub customers, had also been sold out.

Lin, who has been nominated for six awards at this year’s Golden Melody Awards, last performed in Singapore in 2015 to an 8,000-strong audience as part of his Timeline: Genesis World Tour.

His tour will feature hits such as A Thousand Years Later, Those Were The Days and Practice Love.

Lin will also be bringing the Sanctuary tour to 16 other cities including Beijing, Wuhan, Shenzhen, Jinan, Dalian, Nanjing and Kuala Lumpur.
