Tyla Shuts Down 2024 CFDA Awards Red Carpet in Sexy Lace Minidress with Plunging Neckline and Neon Hot Pants
The singer took her sultry style to the next level
Tyla has arrived to the 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards!
On Monday, Oct. 28, the 22-year-old singer made her debut at the annual event in a daring black lace minidress from Gucci's '96 collection that showed off her neon green hot pants underneath.
The teeny-tiny dress plunged down to the singer's navel, which perfectly showed off her necklace. She also wore black strappy heels. For glam, she rocked a bright blue eyeshadow look and swept her curly hair into a perfectly tousled updo.
On Oct. 15, the Grammy winner, performed at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. To sing her viral hit “Water" as well as "PUSH 2 START," the South African musician wore an intricate, layered top and bottom set plus a matching garter.

For the pre-show carpet, Tyla stunned in a bright pink, floor-length gown that featured beaded designs, cutout details and a cascading train. She accessorized with sparkling sandals and lots of jewelry and wore her hair in a messy updo.
Other performances during the runway show included Cher and Lisa. Ahead of the event, Tyla told Rolling Stone that growing up, she was “captivated” by the iconic fashion show and its “stunning outfits” and “iconic wings.”

At this year's CFDA Fashion Awards, Erykah Badu is being honored with the Council of Fashion Designers of America's Fashion Icon award. Previous recipients of the prestigious award, which has recognized influential figures in fashion since 2010, include Zendaya, Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.
The 2024 CFDA Fashion Awards are hosted by Cynthia Erivo and will be presented by Amazon Fashion at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City.
