UEFA probes racism claims against Lokomotiv Moscow

UEFA were accused of bowing to pressure from clubs who are seeking to upset established hierarchies in their respective countries, but the organisation's financial experts say it is inaccurate to claim that Financial Fair Play has lost its teeth

European football's governing body UEFA is investigating Lokomotiv Moscow over allegations of "racist behaviour" by fans during the Russians' 2-0 win over Albanians Skenderbeu last week. Lokomotiv supporters are accused of having "chanted racist, anti Albanian-Kosovar songs" during their Europa League pool clash on October 1, a spokesman told AFP. The Russians' case will be heard on October 15.
