Ukraine destroys part of Russia’s ‘anti-drone dome’ near Tavria in southern Ukraine

The Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed one of Russia’s Pole-21 electronic warfare stations in the Tavria sector, Tavria operational group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi reported on Telegram on Nov. 5.

"A Pole-21 electronic warfare station designed to suppress satellite navigation channels has been destroyed," he said.

Pole-21 is a Russian electronic warfare system, dubbed the "anti-drone dome".

Designed in 2016, the system combats high-precision weapons and drones. It creates a dome of interference and suppressing equipment linked to global satellite and radio navigation systems.
