Ukraine is in immediate need of American assistance, U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine, Bridget Brick, said on X (Twitter) following Russia’s mass missile attack on March 29.

"All night, Russia has ruthlessly launched missiles & drones against Ukraine’s energy infrastructure," she wrote.

Russia’s barbaric effort to take the power out for millions of men, women, and children continues unchecked, the ambassador said.

"Our assistance is needed now," she added.

New Russian attack on Ukraine — What is Known?

Air raid alerts sounded across much of Ukraine overnight amid a new wave of Russian attacks.

Explosions were heard in the Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv oblasts, and Dnipro city.

Ukrenergo reported that Russian forces heavily targeted energy facilities, damaging thermal and hydroelectric power stations in central and western Ukraine.
