Ukraine takes out Iskander cruise missile and all 9 other aerial targets in Russia's May 31 overnight attack

Ukraine managed to shoot down all six missiles, including an Iskander cruise missile, and all four drones in Russia's overnight attack on May 31, Air Force commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported.

Ukraine's Air Force managed to neutralize all five S-300/S-400 anti-aircraft guided missiles, one Iskander-K cruise missile, and four Shahed-131/136 type kamikaze drones in the combined attack.

The Russians launched S-300/S-400 guided missiles against Kharkiv from Russia’s Belgorod Oblast,

The Iskander-K missile was launched at Kyiv from Russia's Kursk Oblast.

Shahed drones were launched from near Yeysk, Russia. They were shot down over the Kyiv, Zaporizhzhya, and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts.

Russian combined attack on Ukraine overnight on May 31

Five people were killed and 25 injured after explosions were heard in Kharkiv overnight on May 31 as Russia repeatedly hit the city - including "double-tap" strikes, Kharkiv Mayor, Ihor Terekhov, reported.

Most of the casualties came after a five-story apartment was partially destroyed (from the 3rd to 5th floors). Two children, a boy and a girl both aged 12, were among the injured.

Emergency workers are still searching the rubble.

A sewing factory was hit in another city’s district, and its guard was killed.
