The Ukrainian Forces neutralized 346 Russian soldiers (killed and wounded) in the Tavria operational zone, destroying four critical Russian objects, including a command post and dugouts, Tavria Operational-Strategic Group commander Oleksandr Tarnavskyi reported on Telegram on March 9.

The enemy has lost 61 units of weapons and military equipment, excluding drones, Tarnavskyi said.

The Ukrainian military destroyed:

• One tank

• 16 armored fighting vehicles

• 15 artillery systems

• Two anti-tank guided missile systems

• One grenade launcher

• 20 vehicles

• Six units of special equipment.

A total of 238 drones of various types were neutralized or shot down by electronic warfare means.

The destroyed Russian equipment included the Groza, Zhitel, and Leer-3 electronic warfare stations, Tarnavskyi said.

The Ukrainian forces also eliminated a mine-laying machine, a Murov-M video surveillance system, three Shahed-136 attack drones, three Lancet drones, one Supercam drone, and more.

The situation in the Tavria sector is difficult but controlled, Tarnavskyi said. Over the past day, 45 battles occurred in the command’s area of responsibility, constituting 2/3 of the battles on the entire Russian-Ukrainian front.

“The Orikhiv sector is becoming another hot area of the front as the enemy tries to cut off the Robotyne salient,” Ukraine’s South Operational Command spokesman, Dmytro Lykhovyi, said on national television on March 7.
