'Untitled Goose Game' causing a flap on PlayStation, Xbox this December - report

'Untitled Goose Game' became a breakout hit upon its September debut on Switch, Mac and PC

Breakout mischief-making lark "Untitled Goose Game" is migrating from Nintendo Switch, Mac and PC to Xbox One and, it is thought, PlayStation 4, on December 17, 2019.

According to in-game milestones obtained by data-mining sites TrueAchievements and Exophase, "Untitled Goose Game" is heading for both Xbox One and PlayStation 4, Eurogamer reports.

The rather silly, rather naughty adventure of a trouble-causing goose in a polite English village landed on Nintendo Switch, Mac and PC on September 20.

Players have a checklist of pranks and misbehaviors to complete in order to finish each level, each bound to inconvenience and annoy the village's human residents.

The misbehaving waddler became subject of an enthusiastic fan community, even catching the attention of supermodel Chrissy Teigen, whose (self-confessed) unexpected level of enthusiasm helped stoke further interest in the game.

The PlayStation Network's data wasn't tied to a specific release date, but appeared at around the same time as the Xbox data, hence suggestions that both versions will launch simultaneously.

However, game developer House House and publisher Panic, Inc. previously cut a Mac and PC deal with the Epic Game Store and a temporary console deal with Nintendo, so a staggered launch could be on the cards.
