The Vespa Scooter has always been an upbeat kind of ride. But Vespa Philippines ups the ante by bringing in the very youthful Primavera Sean Wotherspoon edition to the country.
The latest design of the Primavera is the product of a collaboration between the Italian motorcycle brand and Sean Wotherspoon, one of the rising stars of youth fashion in the USA. This resulted in the infusion of young and eclectic hues on the vintage look of the Primavera.
Publicly unveiled locally via Vespa Philippines’ Facebook page, the Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon edition was introduced by United Motohub Philippines head honcho Willy Tee Ten and known art aficionado DJ Big Boy Cheng.
United Motohub Group is an affiliate of the Autohub group Group of Companies, the same group that handles the local distribution of vehicles from Rolls Royce, Mini, and Lotus, as well as United Motors.
Both Cheng and Tee Ten expressed excitement over the latest vehicle offering of Vespa Philippines.
Cheng said that the latest offering “expresses the combined creative energies of both Vespa and Sean (Wotherspoon).”
Meanwhile, Tee Ten said that the limited-edition series for the Primavera is an “art collaboration has not only given us a mix of vibrant and bold colors but also a beautiful combination of textures with an 80’s vibe, all put together in a classic Vespa.”
“It will truly be a smile enhancer when you see them on the roads,” he noted, adding that he considers the newest offering as one of his favorites.
According to him, the introduction of the Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon edition is very timely as this could “spread positivity on the streets and inspire others with the rich visual color package.”
Meanwhile, Wotherspoon, in a statement was quoted as saying.
“Based on their immense history and heritage I’m beyond excited to start work with Vespa/Piaggio. I’m going to dig as deep as possible to help re-create these memories and re-imagine them through my lens to share with everyone! This is going to be insane! Stay tuned!”
This ride calls more than enough attention as the Vespa Primavera Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon wears the outrageous colors of yellow, red, dark green and aquamarine all in one ride.
The saddle is made up of light brown ribbed velvet while a white finish and a distinct logo can be seen on the front alongside the classic Vespa logo in white. Also, a repeating 'Primavera' is plastered on the side.
But that's not all—the surprising colors of the Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon edition also comes with matching apparel as the two shirt designs are also being offered to go with the ride.
Vespa Primavera Sean Wotherspoon is available at a selected network of dealers dealing with 150-cc engine capacities. This limited edition Primavera has a price tag of P308,000, which has a free original Vespa top box. Throw in another P33,000 to get the original rear luggage rack.
