The October 2024 BTO launch promises to be one of the largest and most diverse yet, with approximately 8,500 flats available across multiple estates. These estates include:

October BTO 2024 Overview
The upcoming October 2024 BTO exercise offers around 8,500 BTO flats across nine estates.
This launch surpasses earlier launches in 2024: February had 4,126 flats across six estates and June had 5,074 flats across six estates.
This will be the third and final BTO launch for 2024, totalling about 17,700 BTO flats for the year.
The October 2024 BTO flats will be available under the Standard, Plus, and Prime categories.
Singles can apply for all 2-room Flexi BTO flats, regardless of location.
Bayshore will have about 7,000 HDB flats and 3,000 new private housing units by the mid-2030s.
Impact of August 2024 Cooling Measures: The recent cooling measures, effective from August 2024, have lowered the Loan-to-Value (LTV) limit for HDB loans from 80% to 75%. This change increases the down payment required for new flats. For example, if you're buying a 4-room flat at $400,000, your down payment requirement will now be $100,000 instead of $80,000.
Enhanced Support with EHG: To mitigate the higher upfront costs, the Enhanced CPF Housing Grant (EHG) has been increased. Families can now receive up to $120,000, while singles can receive up to $60,000. These new grant amounts will apply from the October 2024 BTO exercise, providing additional financial support.

If you prefer an open-concept with greater flexibility in configuring your living spaces, you can opt for a contiguous living and bedroom space without pre-partitioned walls. This option will be priced accordingly, taking into account the non-provision of internal partition walls. Alternatively, you can choose the standard layout with walls if the open-concept is not your preference.
