London, Sept 24 (ANI): An American man, who lost his iPad on an airplane, used an anti-theft app to locate his computer tablet, and discovered that it was stolen by a flight attendant.

The iPad's owner said he had downloaded the app called 'Find My iPad' only days before the September 11 flight to Los Angeles.

The Nevada-based man used the app and found his lost gadget inside the home of a flight attendant Wendy Ronelle Dye in Oregon, according to the police.

According to the Daily Mail, Dye confessed she took the tablet, which cost around 500 dollars, saying it had been left on a seat.

She said she never used the iPad and planned to turn it over to airline officials, but placed it in a personal bag, and soon forgot about it.
