Uttarakhand Administration gears up to combat possible third wave of COVID

Dehradun (Uttarakhand), Sep 13 (ANI): Uttarakhand Administration is bolstering state’s health infrastructure to combat possible third wave of COVID-19. “In view of possibility of third wave of COVID-19, oxygen-supported bed capacity increased by almost 4 times. ICU beds capacity also increased, about 6,500 oxygen concentrators and nearly 18,000 oxygen cylinders. Almost 87 oxygen generation plants and 80% will be functional by September end,” said Uttarakhand DG (Health) Tripti Bahuguna to ANI.
