6-year-old calls police to tell them his dad ran a red light

The Quincy Police Department in Quincy, Massachusetts, shared a phone call on June 1 they received from a local six-year-old boy reporting a crime. The crime the boy felt compelled to call and report? His father had driven through a red light. The adorable conversation between the police officer and the boy culminates in the officer asking to speak to the boy’s father, who laughs when he realizes what’s going on. “I’m sorry,” the father says. “No problem,” the officer replies. “As long as everything is all set.”
