Malaysia’s navy says two military helicopters collided and crashed during a training session, killing all 10 people on board. The navy said in a brief statement that the helicopters were rehearsing Tuesday at a naval base in northern Perak state for the navy’s 90th anniversary celebration next month when the crash occurred.

A cluster of earthquakes shook Taiwan early Tuesday. The strongest had a magnitude of 6.1, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. There were no deaths reported in the quakes, although there was further damage to two multi-story buildings that had been evacuated after a magnitude 7.4 quake that hit the island earlier this month.
