Ambulances Race to Istanbul Stadium Following Explosion

First responders rushed to the Besiktas Vodafone Arena in central Istanbul late on Saturday, December 10, following a suspected car bomb. At least 70 people were injured in the explosion, reported Turkey’s state-run Anadolu Agency.

The blast occurred after the conclusion of a football match between two of Turkey’s top teams, Bersiktas and Bursaspor. Bursaspor said none of its fans were injured. Interior Minister Suleyman Soylu said the attack may have targeted a riot police bus outside the venue. Credit: Instagram/bashir_aiash via Storyful
