Anti-Fascist Protesters Await Neo-Nazi Rally

At least ten people were wounded, some of whom were stabbed, when anti-fascist protesters clashed with a neo-Nazi group on the grounds of the California state capitol in Sacramento on Sunday, June 26. The permitted rally by the Traditionalist Workers Party, a white supremacist group, was canceled in the wake what local media termed a riot.

Although it wasn’t clear how the melee started – each side blamed the other – but police, some on horseback, moved in to separate the groups. Two of the wounded people were said to have life-threatening injuries. This footage shows the anti-Nazi protesters on the east side of the capitol, before they moved to the west side.
