Bessie the Basset Hound Begs for Lasagne

Basset hounds were originally bred for the purpose of hunting rabbits and hare. Their sense of smell for tracking is second only to that of the bloodhound. It didn’t take long for Bessie to realise there was some lasagne being prepped right under his nose! While his longing looks and persistent pleading was unsuccessful on this occasion, it’s likely that he is biding his time and waiting for the finished product before resuming his pursuit.
