Egyptian Doctors Protest Against Police Brutality in Cairo

Dozens of Egyptian doctors gathered outside the Medical Association headquarters in Cairo on February 12 in support of an ongoing general assembly of the Egypt’s Doctors Syndicate, in which the group was calling for an end to violence against medical professionals. The meeting was called after a doctor was reportedly assaulted by low-ranking police officers for refusing to add fake details to a medical report for one particular officer.
