Holder Demands Reforms at Ferguson Police Department

US Attorney General Eric Holder said on March 6 that he was prepared to “dismantle” the Ferguson Police Department if necessary following the March 4 publication of a damning report into civil rights abuses by that department, according to Reuters. Holder, on March 4, called for reforms at the department and said that “the United States Department of Justice reserves all of its rights and abilities to force compliance.”
