Kurdish Peshmerga, Iraqi Army Meet and Join Forces South of Mosul

Iraqi Army and Kurdish Peshmerga detachments met up and joined forces on the Khazir front, not far from Mosul, on Saturday and Sunday, October 22 and 23.

According to an Iraqi Army official interviewed in the first video here, the two forces dismantled 10 car bombs in the area and inflicted substantial losses on Islamic State fighters, who had dug in to defend their Iraqi base of operations to the northwest.
